To help lead one of the nation’s premier, scientific organizations,
Dr. Prasanna Gore was recently elected 2000 Vice-Chair to the Economic
Marketing and Management Section of the American Association of
Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Dr. Gore will serve in this position
for 1 year.
AAPS holds annual elections to appoint a president-elect and this
year, two members at large. The 9,000-member organization also elects
section leaders who address issues in the field of analysis and
pharmaceutical quality, biotechnology, medicinal and natural products,
pharmaceutics and drug delivery, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical
technologies and regulatory affairs.
Dr. Gore focuses on the pharmaceutical industry with specific emphasis
on strategic market and business development, R&D portfolio
management, and healthcare technology assessment.
AAPS is a professional, scientific society of more than 9,000 members
employed in academia, industry, government and other research institutes
